Grin Green International alumni continue to carry GGI’s legacy beyond our chapters and classrooms. From environmental entrepreneurship and research to policy, advocacy, and community leadership, our alumni are applying the skills, values, and mindset developed through GGI to create meaningful change around the world.

Kouta Suzuki

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Achievement or Milestone #1: Seminar Speaker: Japan-Italy Comparative Politics. Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia - Sophia University. Delivered a speech regarding law, election, and political leadership.
Achievement or Milestone #2: Contributed as a translator and interpreter coordinating between Kobe Steel (KOBELCO) and ExOne (German 3D company). KOBELCO Plant Machine installation project management.
Award: Dean’s Scholarship - Boston University Graduate Program Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies (International Affairs)

Investment Solutions Analyst at J.P. Morgan Private Bank (Portfolio Solutions Group), London.
Master in Management from London Business School, and a triple-degree Bachelor in Business from USC, HKUST, and Bocconi.
Previously: Global Private Bank Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan, Financial Markets at Siam Commercial Bank, Treasury at Nissan Motor, and Fixed Income & Equity Fund Leader at Bocconi Student Asset Management.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Achievement or Milestone #1: Delivered a keynote speech at the UNEP - Swedish Government Conference at the UN SEA Headquarters
Achievement or Milestone #2: Built a Python Stock-rating algorithm that benchmarks company fundamentals against index averages and outputs percentile-based ratings

Nicholas Su
"As School-Wide Department Leader, I helped lead sustainability initiatives such as campus recycling bins and vegan bake sales. Through GGI, I developed communication and leadership skills, learned how to work through bureaucracy, and became more focused on using engineering to create solutions for global environmental problems."

CURRENT PATH:
Currently studying Mechanical Engineering with an interest in environmental engineering and hopes to work as an engineer. They also plan to join the sustainability club at HKU.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Served as School-Wide Department Leader for GGI.
Was active with GGI for 3 years.
Helped lead efforts to bring recycling bins onto campus.
Supported vegan bake sales to promote sustainability.
Developed communication and leadership skills.
Learned how to work through bureaucracy and long approval processes.
Spent around 2 years advocating for recycling bin approval through ongoing discussions with administrators.
Represented GGI Hong Kong at the CDNIS Conference in 2026 through a workshop and Docathon video.
Helped GGI Hong Kong participate in a major sustainability event outside of school for the first time.
Isabella Chan

Currently studying at the #1 business school in Canada and plans to continue engaging with sustainability by joining her university’s sustainability club.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Served as Public Relationships Leader with GGI in Hong Kong.
Was active with GGI for 3 years.
Led and supported outreach efforts.
Represented AIS as a panel speaker at the Kellett Conference.
Helped invite speakers for school talks, including Dana Winograd, co-founder of Plastic Free Seas.
Developed confidence in public speaking, presentation, and leadership.
Overcame a fear of speaking in front of an audience through practice, speech opportunities, and representing AIS.
Received positive recognition from peers after speaking at the Kellett Conference.

Achievement or Milestone #1: Launched Thailand’s first sparkling protein beverage, creating a new functional drink category
Achievement or Milestone #2: Founded and scaled a consumer brand independently into a million dollar business
Achievement or Milestone #3: Featured on Shark Tank Thailand and secured a deal with one of Thailand’s largest beverage companies
Anna Leung
"As AIS Creative Impact Head, I helped promote environmental care and sustainability within the high school community through events, conferences, promotional activities, beach cleanups, and the GGI Docathon Video. My time with GGI strengthened my resilience, communication skills, and commitment to responsible leadership."

CURRENT PATH:
Biotechnology student in Hong Kong, exploring the societal impacts of AI development and its connections to sustainability and the global economy.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Served as AIS Creative Impact Head from 2024–2026.
Helped foster love and care for the environment within the high school community.
Participated in school community events, interschool conferences, promotional activities, and beach cleanups.
Contributed to the GGI Docathon Video, including its production and showcase.
Developed skills in determination, resilience, and communication.
Built resilience by continuing to advocate for positive change despite facing rejection.
Kiki Sundar

Currently studying Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. She is looking to join PolyU sustainability clubs and organizations and is also exploring the possibility of starting a GGI club at PolyU with Anna Leung.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Served as Community Development Head for GGI in Hong Kong.
Was active with GGI for 3 years.
Led and supported initiatives including:
Beach cleanups
Conferences
Bake sales
On-campus assemblies
Developed leadership, event planning, organization, communication, teamwork, and public speaking skills.
Balanced GGI leadership responsibilities with rigorous academics, AP classes, and involvement in multiple clubs.
Learned to manage time effectively and delegate responsibilities to vice presidents and younger members.
Became more environmentally aware and adopted more sustainable daily habits.
Persisted through administrative rejection and unanswered outreach attempts.
Hosted GGI’s largest beach cleanup in collaboration with Kids4Kids, Restoring Rainbows, and Clean Shorelines.
Led an event with over 70 students and 5 staff members.
Connected GGI and Kids4Kids through a successful collaboration.
Helped make the beach cleanup more engaging through scavenger hunts, art competitions, games, and activities.

THE GGI LEGACY
GGI was founded on the belief that young people, when given trust, responsibility, and real problems to solve, can drive meaningful change. Our alumni reflect that belief. They leave GGI not just with experiences, but with a mindset one rooted in collaboration, initiative, and responsibility to the planet and to one another.
