Snowy Ng
Head of Design
My name is Snowy Ng. I joined Grin Green International because I hope to contribute to making the world a better place. I’ve realised that without embracing the fear that holds us back as people and pushing forward, we will never reach new heights and achieve our dreams. My objectives are to reach out further than before to raise awareness, bring people together and relight the fire within us to do better as people, to make better choices. I care about the world, the environment, and the beings within because this world is my home. I want to dedicate my life to helping people, uncovering problems and fixing them with others. I’ve always loved the world and longed to proudly be part of it even when times are not that great. Seeing how the world is now, I sincerely feel the sense of duty to help others rebuild the world again, out of love for others and my admiration for this world. I promise the world that I will use my burning passion to keep working to become a better person and make the world a truly better place. My dreams are to gather as many people as possible, spread the word of our cause as an organisation and show what the world can truly be.

Pranav Sundar Krishnamoorthy
Hello, my name is Pranav. I have grown up in Mumbai, a terrible place having loud cars, lots of pollution as well as trash being thrown out into the streets. Living in Mumbai I have seen as the Arabian Sea in the Mumbai area has worsened as I have grown up. Me and my family are big on environmental problems trying to do what we can to help the environment. I, on my own accord, have become a near full vegan refusing to eat egg and meat but allowing myself to consume dairy products thus being quite used to vegan food makes me a good person to help introduce it to our wonderful school AIS. Hello, my name is Sam Sandhu and I am part of the School-Wide department of the Grin Green American International School Hub. Seeing as interplanetary travel could be centuries away, and establishing a home on different planets may be decades away, taking care of this planet until then is incredibly important. Not only that, but a cleaner environment leads to less disease, which leads to an increase in survivability. Keeping the environment safe and clean is incredibly important, as we all know, and I believe Grin Green is an amazing way to incorporate this in other schools and possibly, nationally. I hope my contributions to Grin Green have an effect on the environment of Hong Kong, and hopefully, influence the lives of future children.

Darsh Hurkat
It’s Darsh here! I am a sophomore currently studying at American International School. I am an energetic individual with various skill sets and a vast amount of potential to offer. I have a pretty diverse skill set that includes football, web development, logo design, marketing and slowly diving into the world of business and coding as well. Now you might be wondering why I would list football as a skill set when it has nothing to do with the environment? Let me explain, Football isn’t just about kicking a ball around trying to make it end up in the back of a net but there is a lot more that goes into the sport than just that. For example, teamwork, discipline and perseverance are probably the most important aspects of the sport but also some crucial life skills required to be successful. After years of playing the sport I believe I have exponentially grown and developed these skills for sure. Now let's draw our attention to some of my other attributes! I recognise the power of technology as a tool for raising awareness and driving change in our society and that’s where I come in with all my other attributes that I listed above. Let's talk about marketing and business skills. For example, Marketing and business skills play a vital role in raising social awareness about environmental conservation. Marketing strategies like branding and advertising help raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire individuals to take action and business skills such as strategic planning and partnerships ensure the long-term viability of environmental initiatives by securing funding and forging collaborations. By combining marketing and business expertise, we can make a significant difference in preserving our planet and inspiring others to join our cause. Just to put the cherry on the cake I would also like to add that I have also participated in beach clean up last year and done much more. Together we can definitely create a lasting impact on our environment.

Joining Grin Green International is an exciting opportunity for me to make a positive impact on environmental sustainability!
Dik Yiu Kwok (Danielle)
Hello, my name is Dik Yiu Kwok (Danielle) and I am a current 10th grader in American International School. I have a passion for singing and biology. I have been living in Hong Kong for the past 15 years. I chose to join Grin Green International Club because I wanted to learn more about the environment beyond the classroom. As I have lived in Hong Kong for a while, I have found out that Hong Kong people in general don’t really know or care much about the environment. I have participated in numerous community services, like beach cleanup, workshops and more. Joining the Grin Green Club has been an absolutely amazing experience for me, and I know I can bring positive impacts to the club and environment.
