KIKI SUNDAR

 Head of Community Development 

Kiki Sundar is the passionate and dedicated leader of Grin Green International Hong Kong’s Community Development department. Currently a Senior at American International School Hong Kong, Kiki is deeply committed to driving social change and promoting sustainability. Her strong belief in the power of education and advocacy has led her to actively engage in GGI. With a focus on community development and reaching out to local organisations and communities, Kiki aspires to promote sustainable practices, particularly in schools and communities around Hong Kong. She aims to raise awareness about environmental and global challenges.

ANNA LEUNG

 Head of Creative Impact 

Anna Leung is driven by a passion for sports and science, focusing her efforts on creating a positive impact in the world. She believes that understanding scientific principles can lead to innovative solutions that address pressing global challenges. With a commitment to helping others, Anna joined Grin Green International to work alongside like-minded individuals who share her dedication to environmental sustainability. She is the head of the Creative Impact department, using her modern day knowledge to strike problems given to her and her team. They innovatively tackle issues, focusing on adaptation and resilience. As an active member of the GGI, Anna engages in various initiatives aimed at raising awareness about climate change and its effects on both people and nature. She collaborates with schools and organizations to promote eco-friendly practices and inspire her peers to take action. She uses her design skills and artistic abilities to provide high quality of work.

NICHOLAS SU

 Head of School-Wide 

Nick is the head of the schoolwide department of the American International School hub. He has always believed in keeping the environment clean and organized. He believes that we should treat the environment like a living thing and not just a place we live in. He found Grin Green as a great opportunity to come together with people like him to make a real difference. He hopes that his participation in Grin Green along with others will help make the world a better place.

ISABELLA CHAN

 Head of Public Relations 

Isabella Chan has a passion for change that revolves around SDG 4 and 13, as she strongly believes that the impacts of climate change extend far beyond our individual lives, affecting other species, the prospects of future generations, as well as the very environment we inhabit. She joined Grin Green International in hopes of connecting with other like-minded individuals who are equally passionate about environmental issues. As the leader of the Public Relations Department, she facilitates collaboration with schools in Hong Kong and internationally, as well as with other NGOs and businesses. Together, their collective efforts can yield an even greater impact and raise awareness on a global scale. She firmly believes that the time for change is now, as every passing day offers a chance to break through limitations and embrace the need of immediate change. It is within these moments that we find the power to inspire others and get them to join our cause.

BUILDING YOUTH‑LED ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION IN HONG KONG

Since its founding, the GGI Hong Kong Hub has grown into a student‑led platform for environmental advocacy, community action, and education. Our work spans policy engagement, public speaking, hands‑on conservation, creative storytelling, and school‑based culture change all driven by students.

ADVOCACY & POLICY ENGAGEMENT

CLEAN AIR ADVOCACY WITH CLEAN AIR NETWORK

Working alongside Clean Air Network, GGI Hong Kong project leader Isabella Chan contributed to youth‑led clean air advocacy efforts that supported tangible policy wins and increased public awareness around air quality issues in Hong Kong.

Their work demonstrated how informed student voices can play a role in shaping conversations around public health and environmental policy.

PUBLIC SPEAKING & THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

SUSTAINABILITY LEADERSHIP AT KELLETT SCHOOL CLIMATE CONFERENCE

GGI Hong Kong leader Isabella Chan was invited to speak on sustainability at Kellett International School’s Annual Climate Conference, representing youth perspectives on environmental responsibility, systems thinking, and student‑driven change.

This engagement highlighted GGI’s role in empowering students to confidently engage with wider school communities and public audiences.

COMMUNITY ACTION & ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

ISLAND BEACH CLEANUPS ACROSS HONG KONG

GGI Hong Kong organized and led three large‑scale beach cleanups across:

  • Lamma Island

  • Tung Ping Chau

  • Cheung Chau

These cleanups removed significant amounts of coastal waste while also educating participants about marine pollution, waste streams, and local environmental challenges.

VEGAN BAKE SALES FOR IMPACT

Through multiple vegan bake sales, GGI Hong Kong raised funds to support its environmental initiatives while promoting conversations around sustainable food systems and conscious consumption.

PARTNERSHIPS & COLLABORATION

WORKING WITH PLASTIC FREE SEAS

GGI Hong Kong partnered with our friends at Plastic Free Seas to support education and action around plastic pollution, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between student groups and established environmental organizations.

Beyond advocacy wins by Kiki Sundar, our partnership with Clean Air Network offers students exposure to real‑world environmental policy work and community engagement.

CREATIVITY, MEDIA & STORYTELLING

INTERACTIVE FILM WITH MAD COURSES

GGI Hong Kong collaborated with MAD Courses to create an interactive film documenting the history and growth of GGI. This project combined environmental storytelling, digital creativity, and student voice to capture GGI’s journey and values in an innovative format.

EDUCATION, EMPATHY & SOCIAL IMPACT

ENTREPRENEURSHIP & EMPATHY WORKSHOPS WITH HELP4REFUGEES

GGI Hong Kong works with our close friend, Jordan Hattar from Help4Refugees to deliver workshops focused on entrepreneurship training and empathy building, helping students understand the intersection of environmental issues, displacement, and social responsibility.

SCHOOL‑BASED CULTURE CHANGE

CREATING AN ECO‑CULTURE AT AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

GGI Hong Kong played a key role in launching a new recycling initiative at American International School, working in partnership with Green@Community. This initiative helped embed sustainable practices into daily school life and demonstrated how student leadership can drive long‑term behavioral change.

GGI Hong Kong hosted and facilitated workshops at the CDNIS GGC Conference, sharing tools, ideas, and frameworks for student‑led sustainability initiatives.

WESWEAR.ORG: STUDENT‑DESIGNED ECO‑MERCHANDISE

Through WeSwear, GGI Hong Kong designed and sold innovative eco‑merchandise, using entrepreneurship as a tool for environmental awareness and funding future initiatives.
